Pledging Allegiance
Blackfive tells a cool little story about his four year old. It made me think of a time a couple of years ago when I was in a big arcade at the Mall of America. There was a guy there with his two sons, ages approx. 5 and 7. They were getting ready to play the hockey game under the dome. If anyone isn't familiar with the game, once you put your money in you hear the last few lines of the national anthem played and the roar of the crowd before the first face-off.
The guy put his quarters in the machine and all three of them stood there with their hands over their hearts in the middle of the arcade listening to the anthem. Sure it's corny, but I found it to be really cool and sweet.
